Kate McComas Training concentrates on classical equitation, which is the foundation of competent, accomplished hunter/jumper riders. Kate was a successful junior medal rider who went on to become an open equitation rider for the University of California, San Diego where she was the co-captain of the UCSD Equestrian team for two years.

Kate has a Veterinary Technician license with a specialty in rehabilatating the equine athlete. With this background in veterinary care, Kate specializes in conditioning and strength building for horses who are returning to the show ring.
